Build your own laptop

Home building of computers has so far pretty much been limited to desktops (however loosely
defined), but that's changing and the DIYers in the house might want to check out this ongoing series over at Legit Reviews on building your own laptop. So far there's just a shopping list of components but instructions are no fun anyway. The review suggests an Asis whitebox notebook, Intel Pentium-M 1.7GHz, 1GB of RAM, a 40GB Fujitsu hard drive, Intel WiFi card and a Toshiba CD-RW/DVD drive which all add up to a pretty decent system. So go forth and build.
