A bunch of schoolkids in South Africa have apparently figured out how to tap into other people's cellphone conversations. A newspaper down there confirms that that it's possible to eavesdrop on other Vodacom subscribers' phone calls by calling the company's customer care service and then dialing a special code (or something like that, it's not entirely clear) which lets you listen in on a random phone call within a 15km radius.
