Focusing on DigitalFocus or something like that

Ryan and I are obviously on the right mailing list because, we keep getting invited to these legitimate tech media events. The latest one we scored an invite to was DigitalFocus, which took place last night in advance of today's DigitalLife show here in New York. Nothing too major, but we snapped a few pics of some of the things we saw there:

A brand new printer from HP with built-in WiFi. This is supposed to be announced later today, so we?ll have some more details soon.

Toshiba?s new 17-inch widescreen Qosmio G15-AV501
multimedia laptop which we just wrote about a couple of days ago.

The remote control that comes with the Toshiba Qosmio laptops.

8x8?s Packet8 VideoPhone, which works over a broadband Internet connection rather than a regular telephone line, and also doubles as a VoIP phone.

Broadcom showed off a couple of reference designs for WiFi VoIP cellphones. The top one just looks like an ancient Nokia with a color screen, but the one below it looks exactly like a regular clamshell cellphone. We dig it.

NEC?s 11mm thick VersaPro VY11F/GL-R Tablet PC. Only out in Japan for right now, so it was sort of a tease for Intel to have one at their booth.

Netgear?s MP101 Wireless Digital Music Player which can stream MP3 and WMA audio files over a 802.11b or 802.11g.

This one hasn?t been announced yet (it still has the logo of Wistron, the Taiwanse company that is building this for them), but it looks like Netgear is coming out with a Windows Media Extender of their own.
