Creative SoundBlaster Audigy 4 Pro Limited Edition brings multi-channel audio

Using an external I/O hub, the new Creative SoundBlaster Audigy 4 Pro
"Limited Edition" (we're not precisely sure what makes it "limited edition", but whatever) goes after the home recording enthusiast with stereo connectors for six channel input, optical and coaxial digital I/O, full sized MIDI
I/O, microphone with gain control, headphone with volume control, and two 1394 FireWire ports.  It also uses 24-bit A/D and D/A converters for some serious digital recording.  Of course, it also sports all the output fun one would expect from a SoundBaster, including 5.1 surround, DVD-Audio and effects processing.
