Half Life 2 street date confirmed!

Half Life 2, the sequel to one of the greatest games of all time, has had it's fair share of problems over the years. Leaked source code, release date shenanigans, bogus postings claiming the game had gone gold. Let's not forget some mysterous legal issues between Valve and Vivendi Universal either.

Finally, some official news. Half Life 2 will street on November 16th. Vivendi are aiming to get the localized non-English versions on the street on the same day as well. So not long until you can become "friends" with the gentleman on the right.

Halo 2 and Half Life 2 within a couple of weeks of each other. A heck of a month for FPS fans.
