HP iPAQ hx4700 review

Brighthand takes a look at the
iPAQ hx4700, HP's high-end Pocket PC with a 4-inch VGA
display, a speedy 624MHz Intel XScale CPU, WiFi, Bluetooth, SD and CompactFlash card slots, 64MB RAM, and 128MB ROM,
available for a whopping $650 (one of the highest priced non-smartphone PDAs these days). They loved the screen (but not Windows Mobile 2003's use of it) and the spectacular 6 hour battery life, but HP's use of a touchpad (a first for a Pocket PC) frustrated them after weeks of use (not to mention it's bad for gaming).
