Peter Mehring named as new chief of Mac hardware

Peter Mehring has reportedly been named as the successor to the departing Tim Bucher, former chief of Macintosh hardware. A letter from Mehring, currently chief of Engineering at Echelon, to his current colleagues confirms his plans to head to Cupertino.
