iTMS new genre: karaoke??

Continuing with today's theme of serious Apple journalism, we bring you news of what could possibly be the next great trend at the iTMS: karaoke! Apple-X site member dains

spells out the concept:

Think about it, nearly every Macintosh has a microphone input, or at least an internal mic. With this you could buy
and download a karaoke track from the iTunes music store for say $0.50c, plug in your microphone and sing away badly
to the lyrics displayed through iTunes Visualiser. An iSight plug-in to iTunes could definitely beef things up as you
can then watch, and even record, your terrible ambition to be the next David Bowie.

If you had the desire, you could even set up your iBook on the coffee table, and have yourself and your friends mug
displayed on the television for an all-round karaoke party feast.

Perhaps American iTMS patrons will be slow to warm to the idea, but when the iTMS launches in Japan... look out!
It's only a matter of time.
