Every Mac needs maintenance

MacMerc editor James Huff wants to have a word with you, and that word is
maintenance. He's drawn up a simple checklist for monthly routine maintenance that will keep your Mac humming along in all its Mac glory. Most of the tools you'll need are completely free, except for DiskWarrior which is so handy you'll likely want to have it around anyway – it could save your neck (and more importantly, your data!) in the event of a disk failure.
