Sony Ericsson Z500a gets on the Cingular bandwagon
It seems like ages ago that Sony Ericsson actually announced the
Z500a, but Cingular has finally announced they're carrying the new cameraphone, which sports tri-band GSM support, dual color LCDs, VGA resolution camera, plays both MP3 audio and MPEG4 video, and can connect to the Internet via both GRPS and the new,
faster EDGE specification (between 100 and 200 kbps). And of course it wouldn't be complete without changeable faceplate covers (though Cingular and Sony Ericsson would prefer we call them "Style up covers"). If you really want one of these, you better figure out some way to get in the studio audience for this afternoon's episode of the Dr. Phil Show (and also have a relative serving in Iraq); they'll be giving away the phone Oprah-style to everyone there.
