Does your iBook need TLC?

If your iBook has any of the following symptoms, your mother board may need to be repaired or replaced:

  • Scrambled or distorted video
  • Appearance of unexpected lines on the screen
  • Intermitten video image
  • Video freeze
  • Booting into a blank or black screen

If you purchased your iBook less than three years ago, you're in luck: the iBook Logic Board Repair Extension Program should cover the replacement or repair. Check your serial number; if it's between UV220XXXXXX and UV318XXXXXX,
you're likely covered under the program.
