World of Warcraft?! Curious decision, especially when they use the word "derivative" to describe it, but to each their own. Having not played a lot of "game of the year" candidates it's tough to comment, since I tend to avoid the mainstream a lot, but from what I've seen and heard... I'm left scratching my head, especially as this appears to be ACROSS ALL PLATFORMS... Which means it beat Halo 2 which the Xbox crowd are still wetting themselves over. Weird!
