NetNewsWire adds podcasting support

The latest beta release of the excellent newsreader NetNewsWire adds support for 'RSS enclosures' – geekspeak for 'Podcasting'
(as if 'Podcasting' were not geekspeak enough!). Now you can subscribe to your favorite podcasts in NNW and see at a glance what's new, and transfer the file directly to iTunes for syncing with your iPod.

According to NetNewsWire developer Brent Simmons, the podcasting support wasn't so much planned as it was demanded – by
'a thousand and one podcast enthusiasts.' Now that's a folktale for our times, indeed.
