Separated at birth? The Nanode and the Mac Mini

We're kind of annoyed it took Hoojum this long to finally get the
Nanode rolling, but, as
Hexus points out, surely not nearly as annoyed as they must be over the fact that the fruit (no pun intended) of their labors happens to bear a striking resemblance to Apple's new Mac Mini. Actually, maybe not—it's probably no coincidence that they posed their new small form factor PC with, ahem, a McIntosh. If you're interested (and we're sure there are more than a few of you out there who will be) the Nano-ITX based machine still has the same specs as it did around this time last year
(that means it will run a 1GHz VIA CN400 with hardware based MPEG2/4 acceleration and on-board SATA RAID), but it's due out Q1 this year. Last year's specs on this year's model? Remind you of anyone? (We kid!)

[Thanks, L'Emmerdeur]
