Sony's MZ-RH10 MiniDisc player will support direct playback of MP3s?
Sony finally caved a few months back and gradually started adding native support for MP3 playback to their digital audio players (before you had to convert everything to their proprietary ATRAC3 format first), could they be adding MP3 support to MiniDisc players next? It won't be out until April, but details have surfaced about the MZ-RH10, a new Hi-MD
player that is supposed to offer "direct playback" of MP3 files, and we hope that's really what they mean. It's listed as having an Organic EL display and a battery life of 32 hours.
[Thanks, C Li and Minidisc fan, which confirms that at least two of you are very pleased by this news]
