Kodak's Z7590 and Z730 digital cameras

Look, we're not going to try and pretend these are going to top the impression that
Kodak's
Easyshare One made on us at
CES, but let's not forget Kodak makes some decent other cameras, too (when they're not suing other companies for patent infringement). Their new Easyshare Z7590 and Z730 both continue to answer the question many have been asking—why do most point and shoot digitals stop at 3x optical zoom? The Z7590 is a 5-megapixel shooter with a 10x optical zoom lens, and has their stndard Easyshare dock connection, for fast printing—assuming where you're printing also has an Easyshare dock. Should set you back $450, and be in stores in May. Click on to get the skinny on the Z730.

We?re none too sure about the Z730 just yet in terms of size?it looks really rather chunky (we?re hoping that it?s a
?deceptively chunky? situation)?but it does ease you out of the 3x-zoom blues with a 4x optical zoom, 5-megapixel CCD,
and 2.2-inch LCD.  It too will feature the Easyshare dock connection, and will hit you up for $350 when it hits the streets in May.
