GT4 ships according to IGN… They're partially right

Ontario appears to have been the first place GT4 appeared. Closely followed by New York. However, if you live west of the Central timezone, you most likely spent yesterday evening extremely annoyed and envious of your eastern counterparts. (California seems to be the big exception.)

Those of us in the west are mostly still without GT4, though a friend of mine in Calgary has somehow snagged a copy.
I've never heard such nonsense from stores. Wal-Mart claimed the game wasn't coming until March. Maybe I misdialled and called Europe by mistake. Someone I know spoke to a Sony rep who said the game was out March 22nd... Absolute incompetence all around, really.

This is the first new release I've tried to get on the alleged release day in over a decade. Those who regularly go through this nonsense, can you tell us if this is the usual routine? Or are us GT fans in the west just "lucky"? Here's hoping today is my lucky day, and by the time you're reading this, I have the game in my sweaty, sleep deprived, cold virus-riddled hands.
