64-bit Windows XP and Server 2003 finally in sight

Man, it's been a long time since Microsoft's released a proper 64-bit version of their Windows platform (wasn't it NT4 SP6 for Alpha?)—last time they had any sort of 64-bit launch it was back when Intel's Itanium processor architecture was the only game in town, and as we all know now, it's since tanked pretty freaking hard. But AMD's still kicking it with their Athlon64 line, and according to MS, starting in June you'll be able to shed your "legit" beta and preview-program releases, since MS has announced their final release of 64-bit versions of Windows XP and Server 2003
(titled Windows XP x64 and Windows Server 2003 x64—what, no Windows XP and Server 2003 Extremely Extreme Edition?). And no, it won't run twice as fast as regular old 32-bit Windows, so don't even ask—still, it should be pretty hot.
