MLB 2K5 reviewed by Next Level

The release of Take Two's Major League Baseball has been an utter farce so far. From what's been seen on message boards, the Xbox version was released with some aggravating bugs. The PS2 version was delayed, and has been released in some areas, but not in others. At last check a few days ago, Amazon.com says it ships in 2-3 days for the PS2, whereas Amazon.ca says it won't be released until March 16th. And people thought GT4's release was a joke!

However, the folk at Next Level Gaming got their mitts on the game, and seem to like it. The fight between Take Two and EA has gotten ugly on some message boards, though most of the really immature chatter is from the EA fans it seems.
The Take Two fans are largely taking the higher ground, at least on the boards I've frequented.

Regardless, both titles have strengths and weaknesses. MVP has oversized player heads that start to annoy after a while. Still waiting to get my hands on Take Two's effort to see which truly plays a better ballgame.
