Mitac Mio136 GPS hits North America

Mitac is rolling out their Mio136 compact GPS solution to North American markets. The unit bundles a GPS receiver with an MP3 player and SD expansion slot in a 4.72-inch casing. The device can serve dual-duty as a handheld or in-car unit, and ships with case, headphones, mounting gear,
North American map CD, and a 256MB SD card. Specs are as previously described: 300MHz Intel CPU, 32MB onboard memory,
3.5-inch TFT LCD for viewing in 2D or 3D, running Windows CE .NET 4.2. One can be had for an MSRP of $499.
