Signs of the Nikon D50?

What were definitely fake photos of the rumoured Nikon D50 (peep at right) came out last month, but yesterday some potentially non-fake news of Nikon's expected entry-level SLR camera surfaced. Apparently a manual for the device appeared briefly on the Japanese Nikon site, and the specs that were gleaned from it include 6.1 megapixel resolution
(like the D70, its older cousin), silver colored case,
photo storage on SD cards, and a body similar to the size of the D70. Of course, it could all be completely fabricated,
but you know how we live to spread just these sorts of rumours.
