Tiger Gold Master leaked to P2P networks

Apple yesterday settled one of its three lawsuits against persons accused of leaking pre-release builds of Tiger to file-sharing networks — just in time to free up some of those legal resources to go at it for round four: the gold master of Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger started appearing on the servers of known ripping groups over the past weekend. Origins of the 2.5GB disc image (which installs Tiger build 8A428) are unknown, but the destinations are pretty clear: it won't be too long before it finds its way downstream onto the major file sharing networks.
