Electrovaya's Scribbler SC 2200 1.1 WXA

Not that they're a household name or anything, but Electrovaya does put out a couple of Tablet PCs with reportedly 9 hours of battery life. The Scribbler SC 2200 1.1 WXA is a follow-up to the
Scribbler SC-2100 and is based around a 1.1GHz Centrino processor. The newest features are the wide angle viewing angle display on the 12.1-inch pressure-sensitive screen and a dual array mic system for better sound as well as better recognition of speech commands. As in its predecessor, you also get integrated 802.11 a/b/g WiFi and a biometric fingerprint scanner. Prices start at $1949 for a base system which gets you into 256MB RAM and a 40GB HDD, with prices going up from there if you want to beef up those specs.
