Xbox 360 controllers to be Longhorn compatible

Microsoft Senior VP Will Poole confirmed yesterday that the controllers for the Xbox 360 will be fully compatible with Longhorn (whenever that finally happens...). This sort of makes sense given all the rumours that have been going around for a while about how Microsoft is interested in bringing the dedicated Xbox console and the PC gaming world closer together (even going so far as to talk about some sort of
hybrid console). You can sit back and relax, though,
really — we won't know much more for sure until it gets closer to Longhorn's launch, which right now is looking like the end of 2006.
