Transcend's new media player, the T.Sonic Photo
It didn't go so well for Transcend's Digital Album in the reviews department. With any luck, they've learned from the past and the T.Sonic Photo, their latest, will be a more worthy contendor in the media player market. The unit will have 512MB built-in memory, an SD/MMC memory slot, FM
radio, voice recorder, USB 2.0, 2-inch LCD, and 8 hour battery life, and is only rocking the MP3 and the WMA formats.
The one unique feature this thing has is "video out port" for viewing pics and slideshows on a TV, although they don't specify whether it's S-video or composite. It's also got PictBridge support so you can print photos directly via USB
connection, which is a bit outside the norm. The T.Sonic Photo won't win any points for light and thin, as it'll be 145g and 88 x 70 x 22mm.
