Sharp to roll out three new Mebius laptops

Sharp is set to announce three new portables this Friday: the PC-XG70J, the PC-XG50J, and the PC-AL70J. All three sport 15-inch XGA screens, and the PC-XG50J and 70CJ will both be coming with an onboard TV tuner. The latter will be able to record up to 134 hours of tube on its two internal Ultra ATA/100 80GB drives. They'll all get 802.11b/g, have about 2.5 hours' worth of battery and support RAM configurations from 256MB up to 2GB DDR PC 2700 SDRAM. Looks like we'll have to wait til the 13th to get the damage on the cost factor.
