Epic backs PS3

All E3, all the time this week it seems. While some lucky people from around here get to go and schmooze with the gaming industry, lust over the booth babes, and have all sorts of promotional materials shoved at them, some of us are stuck here, standing outside in the pouring rain, looking through the window at the party going on inside, until security come and usher us away, amidst threats of dogs and tazers.

Not that we're bitter or anything...

Epic have apparently sided their considerable girth with the beast from the east, Sony. While it's hard for text to convey the enormity, it certainly sounds like reactions are akin to what happened when Sony debuted MGS2 on the PS2 a few years back. Back then, the story goes that some journalists were reduced to tears, it was so good. (I still have that movie!) No apparent tears at this show, but when a crowd gasps at a muzzle flare, yes, I said a MUZZLE FLARE, you know it must be pretty damn spectacular!
