Samsung SPH-V6900 does its little turn on the catwalk
The Samsung SPH-V6900 is based on the SGH-D500,
apparently with enough new added features to warrant an unveiling at a Seoul fashion show. The camera is still 1.3 megapixels, it's still rocking a 1.9-inch QVGA screen, but the memory has gotten a slight bump up to 90MB from 80.
Apparently this is a CDMA phone, though, whereas the D500 was tri-band GSM. Funny, we always thought GSM was far more fashionable. The real secret weapon feature on this model is that when you interlink arms with someone else who has this phone (see photo) and talk on it, you get free minutes. Okay, not really, but isn't it about time we saw some real feature innovation, people?
