Logitech V200 cordless mouse stops the battery-changing tears

Logitech is coming out with a cordless notebook mouse that has the distinction of being able to run for up to a year on two AA batteries. The Logitech V200 does its cordless thang in the 2.4 GHz band instead of the 27 MHz of conventional cordless mice, which is supposed to give it better range — good if you need to use it to give a presentation, e.g. We'll just be psyched not to have to swap our batteries out every week because we're lazy we're concerned about the environmental impact.
