Samsung introduces Digimax L55W and L50 digital cameras

Samsung has just announced a pair of new digital cameras they'll be releasing later this year: the Digimax L55W and L50.  The 5 megapixel L55W has a 2.8-inch LCD, the biggest Samsung has ever put on one of their compact cameras. It also packs a 4.8x optical zoom with wide-angle capabilities
(hence the added W) and has a 2cm macro function and MPEG 4 movie mode. The smaller L50 is also 5 megapixels but gets a more standard 3x optical zoom and 2.5-inch LCD. No word on pricing or release dates for either camera, but we'll keep our eye on them.
