French newspaper says the iTunes phone is on for next month

Ok, we already know that Apple has some sort of big announcement planned for early next month (scroll down one post), no one knows exactly what they've got cooking, but a French newspaper is reporting that it will indeed be the very first iTunes phone and that it'll be announced July 4th (?!) rather than July 7th. They're also reporting that it's basically going to be a modified white version of the E398 handset Motorola introduced last year (hmmm....), that it will have 512MB of storage
(enough space to store 100 songs), and that an American wireless carrier has agreed to offer the phone. Of course all this is not legit until it's legit, but they're also claiming that there'll be a version with a hard drive available sometime in the first half of next year.
