Verizon Wireless plans music download service
Add to the long list of companies rolling out some sort of
music service Verizon, who doesn't have a lot of details to give us yet but hopes to have it operational within six to eight months. Spokesperson Jeffrey Nelson indicated the service aims for "full music on a mobile phone" and that they're looking at "a number of ways that people manage their digital music" as they prepare the infrastructure. We're hoping that's a hint that means they'll consider integrating the music on your handset with your desktop music collection instead of pretending people won't naturally want to sync the two.
