Panasonic's Lumix DMC-FX9 6 megapixel compact

Round two of Panasonic's trio of cameras today updates their
Lumix DMC-FX8—it's (surprisingly enough) called the FX9,
and ups the ante from its little brother's 5 megapixels to a solid 6. Still got that Leica lens, 2.5-inch display, but it's also got 70% lower energy consumption on image processing via its new Venus Engine Plus. In case you were curious,
this guy's 3.7 x 2 x 1-inches (94 x 51 x 24-mm), and will set you back a stiff $420 US.
