Cowon scrapping the 60GB iAudio X5?

Originally, Cowon had announced plans to release a 60GB
version of their iAudio X5 player, a significant bump up from the current 20/30GB capacities — but now it looks like they're scrapping plans for that device. According to an email reader Sean Donnellan received from Cowon, they're dropping the 60GB version due to insufficient demand for the device at that capacity — nor do they plan to add any other additional capacity models to the X5 line. So if you've been waiting for the 60GB to take that X5 plunge... we suppose the bright side is that your wait is over.
