Dual purpose HDTV \ PC monitor from Samsung

Any time you converge two devices into one without losing functionality of either, you've got a potential winner on your hands. Samsung doesn't water down any features when it comes to their latest multifunction SyncMaster LCD monitor, affectionately known as the 242MP.

This 24-inch, widescreen monitor pulls double-duty as a high-res computer monitor, as well as an HD-Ready set. Capable of 1920 x 1200 resolution, the MP features a 1000:1 contrast, a 16ms refresh rate and a built in FM & TV (analog) tuner. The MP will set you back close to $2,000, but with the addition of a digital tuner signal though the DVI input, you can catch some digital programming and gain more screen real estate for your computer.

We'd like to see more of these multifunction monitors include a built in digital tuner. When you're spending close to two-grand on a set, you don't want 90% of a product; you want the whole enchilada!
