Tiger Dictionary Shortcut Bug

I found the following reproducible bug today in Tiger. Does anyone know where you can find a database of known bugs? Following the pic, you'll find the bug report I just submitted to Apple.

Summary:

While in Safari, I noticed a word that I didn't recognize: nee. So I did what I always do in Tiger, I moused over it and hit COMMAND + CTRL + D to bring up the Dictionary pop-up with the definition. The pop-up appeared reading "No entries found." However, when I commented to a friend in iChat, she said that the definition turned up right away for her. She had used the contextual menu to look up the word, however, so I launched the standalone Dictionary and looked up nee and indeed, 42 results popped up with the top one being nee.

I again tried the mouse over shortcut and was again met with "No entries found," but this time I clicked the More... link which opened up directly to the Dictionary's definition of the word. I then tried this same procedure with fiance and had the same results. It would appear that the shortcut interface to the Dictionary isn't correctly handling unaccented words that are accented in the Dictionary's listings, even though the other means of looking up these words work flawlessly with the same unaccented spelling of the words.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Type in an unaccented word that appears accented in the Dictionary.
2. Mouse over the word and hit COMMAND + CTRL + D.
3. For comparison, launch the Dictionary and type in the same unaccented word, or use the contextual menu to look up the same unaccented word in the Dictionary.

Expected Results:
The shortcut to turn up the same definition for the word that the Dictionary app does.

Actual Results:
The shortcut interface to the Dictionary fails to find the unaccented variant of the word, although all the other interfaces successfully do so.

Regression:
I have only tested this in 10.4.2 Build 8C46

Notes:
None different than those noted above.

UPDATE: While Laurie was reading through this post she asked, "did you try the shortcut on the accented word?" I hadn't, so I did, and it still didn't work.
