Enter Omniwav Mobile's WavBoard, another cellular junction box option for bringing a broadband internet connection to your vehicle. Either the marketing folk haven't done their research, or they're just being deliberately disingenuous by thinking this is "introducing computer users to a freedom they've never had"
(Junxion box,
StompBox, etc. anyone?), but hey, maybe some peeps who don't read Engadget will be taken in. The 10-inch by 6-inch unit mounts in the trunk or glove compartment and connects multiple users via WiFi or ethernet. Be prepared to drop $979 on it, plus the $79 monthly fee, though — if you want to save close to a grand, you might want to think about
DIYing it.
