Sonneteer's Bardaudio line delivers high-end wireless audio streaming
Enough faux-fi already — Sonneteer's got the goods on the real deal. Their Bardaudio line of products does wireless streaming of uncompressed audio at full wireless bandwidth, sending up to 8 channels of stereo via pure 2.4 GHz with forward error correction. There are three main products in the line: BardOne, which consists of a transmitter at the source and receiver at the amp or AV receiver end, BardUSB which is essentially the transmitter half of BardOne that plugs into a USB 1.1 port to act as a soundcard,
and BardThree, a replacement for the BardOne receiver that includes a 25W RMs amplifier so you can plug your speakers directly into it. The options are pricey, though — $825 for the BardOne, $599 for a BardUSB/BardOne Rx pair, and $700 for a BardUSB/BardThree combo. But if you really gotta turn it up to 11 hi-fi style, and you gotta do it wirelessly,
these may be turning your head regardless.
