Want to write for Engadget?

You read correctly – Engadget is looking for some fresh blood. The site is growing more quickly than we could have possibly imagined, and so we're on the lookout for some new contributors who are just as crazy obsessed with gadgets as we are. You don't have to be a professional writer, but you do have to be able to write about technology with wit,
style, and intelligence — or at least be able to fake it.

Click on for details.

These are the available positions (and yes, these are all PAID positions):

1. Daytime editor – Nah, you won?t be working mornings ? at least not often. We?re looking for a late riser (for Eastern Standard Time, anyway) who can help us cover the afternoon shift. Besides being able to write, you should also probably really love crawling RSS feeds.

2. European correspondent – Is attending CeBIT practically a spiritual experience for you? Do you obsessively track Vodafone and Orange?s every move? If so, then please get in touch: we?re looking for a new correspondent who can help us keep track of all the European gadget action.

3. Japanese editor – Liam is doing a bang up job manning the helm over at
Engadget Japanese, but we?re looking for someone fluent in both English and Japanese who can contribute to both sites.

To apply, please send an email to us at engadgetjobs@gmail.com with the name
of the position you are applying for along with:

  • Three sample posts written in the Engadget style.

  • Your top three gadgets of the year (so far?) and fave all-time gadget.

  • Your salary requirements.

  • And a few words about yourself.

Also, ABSOLUTELY NO ATTACHMENTS. And please remember that we tend to get a lot of applications whenever we do one of these, so excuse us if we don?t email back?we can?t reply to everyone!
