NEC WT610 projector reviewed

NEC's lens-free
WT610 DLP projector may be expensive, heavy and and difficult to set up. But, according to PC Magazine, if you're looking to create a huge virtual display from a short distance, this is the way to go. PC Mag checked out the $6,000 projector, and found that it had no problem creating a 78-inch image just two feet from a screen. The reviewer also liked the fact that the projector — which uses mirrors instead of a standard lens to work its short-throw magic — can handle SVGA, DVI, S-Video and composite, and also comes with USB ports, a PC Card slot and WiFi capabilities. We know this thing is targeted at business users, especially with all those PC goodies, but we still wouldn't mind getting one of these to turn just about any room, no matter how small,
into an instant home theater.
