Brillian's 65-inch LCoS rear projection HDTV reviewed

They're still not very well-known, but consumer electronics manufacturer Brillian has managed to wow ExtremeTech with their 6501mPB 65-inch LCoS rear projection HDTV.
While its max resolution of 720p is so 2004, the Brillian gets high marks for its best-in-class contrast ratio (2000:1)
and cinema-like picture quality. The 6501mPB (why can't they use proper nouns for these?) is loaded with inputs,
including 3 composite, 3 S-video, 3 component, and 1 each of DVI and VGA (no HDMI, but the DVI more or less makes up for that). The negs are price (six grand will buy you two Diamond series Mitsubishis) and the weirdo technician you might have to hire to calibrate the unit's copious video settings (seriously, ExtremeTech recommends"professional installation".)
