The Newisys NA-1400: affordable terabyte networked storage

There's long been something missing from our multi-computer, MP3, JPEG and DivX laden homes — a reasonably priced Network Attached Storage (NAS) appliance with some guts to host all that digital love. Meet the Newisys NA-1400 which flaunts 640GB, 1.0TB, 1.6TB, and 2.0TB capacities, two USB 2.0 ports for either sharing devices (like printers) or connecting directly to your desktop or laptop, two 1GB Ethernet jacks, hot-swappable SATA drives, and RAID 0, 1, and 5 support. A browser front end and file system support for SMB, CIFS, XFS means it will work with all the major OSes. Oh,
and did we mention the toaster-sized 1TB flava will go for less than $1,000 green?
