Logitech's Harmony 880 remote: the ultimate?

If you're anything like me, you probably have more remotes than people in your home. Half of them are likely tucked into a junk drawer, while the other half are scattered on a coffee table. Of course, when you need one, you can't find it, right? I've been on the lookout for a slick, all-in-one remote that will work with my HDTV and I might have found one.

Rebecca Day has a well written review of the Logitech Harmony 880 television remote over at DesignTechnica and it seems like a winner. It's not cheap at over $200 and you do have to dock it roughly once per week to recharge it. The feature set has won me over, however. The 880 controls up to 15 devices and has a button dedicated to Aspect ratio, which is great for us widescreen folks.

Rebecca had a few issues programming the remote and made three calls to Logitech's technical support area. This is where the advanced features of the remote really shine: either you or a tech support rep can download updates or customizations to the remote via a USB connection to a PC. With an incredible color screen and the customization option, this might be just what I'm looking for without spending an arm and a leg.
