Olympus intros new EVOLT E-500 DSLR

So Olympus has finally thrown down that E-500 DSLR
we've been waiting on. The EVOLT E-500 is rocking 8 megapixels like its little sibling the
E-300, and is touting its Dust Reduction System, 2.5-inch LCD, and sub-$1000 price. It's also got some new metering functions, a modified and lighter camera body, a programmable "under your thumb" function button, larger buffer for continuous shooting, and TruePic TURBO Image Processor for increased response time. Base price on this will be $799.99, with an $899.99 package including an extra Zuiko Digital Zoom Lens also available.
