Symbian-powered Treo confirmed by "very reliable source"

While we're on the rumor tip, we might as well put it out there that unnamed sources are confirming both a new Palm-based Treo (the 700p?) as well as the much more intriguing Symbian-based Treo for both GSM and CDMA
networks. Gadgets on the Go is citing a "very reliable source" (Jeff Hawkins, perhaps?) in reporting that Palm is indeed hard at work on a next-gen Treo that will rock the Symbian OS, giving them something of a Triple Crown in supporting mobile operating systems. No more information is currently available, but as usual, we'll be covering this juicy little nugget until we're actually clutching a Series 90 Treo in a warm, loving embrace.
