Konami corners "dance" market with force
Word on the street is Konami's got beef with anyone that
steps into DDR territory. Earlier this year, Konami filed a lawsuit against Roxor (In The Groove) for allegedly copying their game cabinet design. And now, they're going after Pop 'NKo.
After buying-out one of the artists that was scheduled to appear in Pop 'NKo's Neon FM, Konami muscled Betson (contracted to make Pop 'NKo's cabinets) into dropping their deal with Pop 'NKo. This leaves the future of
Neon FM up in that air, and Pop 'NKo out in the cold. It's a dirty game, folks.
