Panasonic's framed plasmas

Sure you could spend a million bucks to hide your flat-panel behind the wall or inside a fake fireplace, but why go to all that effort when Panasonic will frame your display and turn it from an eyesore into a work of art? Luxist is reporting that Pana is now offering multiple styles of picture frames (such as wood, pewter, and gold) that surround your TH-EBP42F 42-inch or TH-EB50F 50-inch plasma and add a touch of class to your staid home theater setup. Unfortunately for current owners of Panasonic and other-branded plasmas, the frames are only available with the purchase of a new Pana unit, and cost $400 and $500, respectively.
