CNET eviscerates this one, and probably rightfully so, but there's something charmingly janky about the Truly Pic 'N
Roll MP313X, a totally half-assed attempt at a flash-based 1GB MP3 player that doubles as a digital photo viewer (yeah,
it probably has something to do with the name). Surprisingly, CNET isn't so down on what we thought would be the Pic 'N
Roll's most obvious weakpoint — namely, its 1.8-inch LCD screen — but they don't have anything nice to say about its awful TMusic music transfer software, slow transfer speed, terrible UI, or the fact that they only managed to squeeze a measly 5.6 hours of playback time out of its battery.
