Video Without Boundaries introduces MediaREADY CoPilot PMP
Sure we'd all like a video-capable iPod, but for those of us who want to spend a little less dough (and are willing to risk purchasing a device with a spotty heritage), Video Without Boundaries has announced an under-$200 flash-based PMP called the MediaREADY CoPilot.
You may recall VWB as the company behind the 40GB Flyboy
PMP (yet another good idea with poor design implementation), and now they are reaching out to the budget-conscious consumer with the 320 x 240 MPEG-4-playin' CoPilot. Although this model only features a paltry 512MB or 1GB (for only
$10 more) of internal memory (meaning you'll need to spring for an SD card) and 2.5-inch screen, you get some decent features for the price, including MP3/WAV/WMA support, voice recorder, photo viewer, FM tuner, a calendar and games,
and most importantly, a line-in jack for loading content.
