Capcom unveils new Xbox 360 exclusive

Capcom has unveiled an original Xbox 360 title, Lost Planet: Extreme Condition. The game is set in a frozen landscape inhabited by Snow Pirates, but dominated by the monstrous Eecrid. The main character is based on Korean star,
Byung Hun Lee. Keiji Inafune (Onimusha, Dead Rising, & Mega Man Battle Network) and Jun Takeuchi (Onimusha 3 & Resident Evil 5) will produce Lost Planet, with Kenji Ohguro
(Onimusha 1 & 3) signed on as chief designer.

Lost Planet looks to feature chaotic 3rd-person action, highlighted by hundreds of on-screen enemies and the use of mechs. Inafune has also revealed that online play will be a major component of the game. Lost Planet is due out Winter 2006 in Japan.
